America has established space command. The Trump administration believes that Russia and China could pose a potential threat to America in space.
Washington: The US has established the Space Command to protect its interests in “future war zones” space. US President Donald Trump officially formally launched this command on Thursday.
General John W. Raymond has been appointed commander of the newly formed US Space Command. This command has been established as the 11th Integrated Combat Command of the US Army.
At a formal ceremony held at the White House’s Rose Garden, Trump said, “This is a big initiative. The newly formed combat command ‘SpaceCom’ will protect American interests in space, which will be the next battlefield.” Vice President Mike Pence and Defense Minister Mark Asper were also present at the ceremony along with other dignitaries.
The Trump administration believes that Russia and China could pose a potential threat to America in space. Trump said, “Now, whoever intends to harm America … will try to challenge us in space, it will have to pay a huge price. With our anti-new technologies,
American satellites will be targeted by the Earth’s orbits. Doing armaments, these satellites are important for war zone operations and our way of life. By detecting missiles fired against the US and destroying them Education is essential to our freedom to operate in space. “
The US president said, “We have identified land, air, sea and the cyber world as war zones and we will now consider space as an independent region, which will be monitored by the Integrated Combat Command.”
Trump said that soon after the space command, the American Space Force will be established as the sixth unit of the army. This force will help train troops and provide logistical support for the SpaceCom mission.
